LETTERBOXING
An outdoor quest combining navigational skills and rubber stamp artistry in a charming "treasure hunt". A wide variety of adventures can be found to suit all ages and experience levels. Use the website www.letterboxing.org to find many letterboxes in the Laurel area.  There is also a special section for "KIDS."  A word of advice - a leader or adult should check out the sites before taking the troop.  1)  Missing boxes are very discouraging for first timers and younger girls; and 2) Safety -- we stumbled upon a "camp" which was unoccupied, but creepy.  Always follow SAFETY WISE.
